Jokowi Fired After No Longer President, Ganjar Says Megawati Is Consistent

PDIP Joko Widodo was officially fired (Jokowi), Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to Bobby Nasution. DPP PDIP Chairman Ganjar Pranowo said they were fired because they did not comply with internal rules.
“Obviously no, brother. Obviously I don't follow the rules, right,” said Ganjar, reported by detikJateng, Friday (12/20/2024).

Ganjar then made an analogy with Jokowi as a worker. He said everyone who works in a company must obey the rules of that company. “It's impossible for you to join other media, right? You have to follow the policy, right? If you don't follow (the policy of the media you work in), what 'does this mean?' he added.
The former Central Java governor also explained the reason why PDIP only fired Jokowi after he was no longer president.
“Everything has been calculated. Ms. Mega is a very consistent person. So she once said: 'We will support it until it is completed.' That is why, once it is completed, action will be taken. This is his respect, his consistency for 100 years of support for the Jokowi government,” he said.
“If sending him back to the middle of the road is still in power, maybe other people's interpretations and maybe people will also say 'ah, not consistent'. Ms. Mega shows this consistency. It's respect for him,” he continued.
