Jeff Bezos dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago

On Wednesday, after months of mocking Donald Trump, Jeff Bezos finally found a dinner date at Mar-a-Lago. According to the Daily Mail, Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Snchez, were seen welcoming guests to Mar-a-Lago before breaking bread with Trump and, in a shocking turn of events, with Melania.

Bezos' friendly relationship with the president-elect is no surprise. In October, the same day his aerospace company executives met with Trump, he blocked the newspaper he owns, the Washington Post, from endorsing Kamala Harris. Once Trump won the election, he posted a heartfelt congratulatory message on X, declaring that no nation has greater opportunities and wishing Trump all the best in leading and unifying the America we all love . The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Bezos plans to donate $1 million to Trump's inaugural fund.

And now it looks like Trump is finally reciprocating all those friendly gestures. Bezos is the latest of the big tech executives to visit those hallowed halls where Mark Zuckerberg dined at Mar-a-Lago in November, and Elon Musk has, of course, been a permanent fixture at Trump's side since the election . According to the Daily Beast, Bezos and Trump were getting along well Wednesday night until Musk dropped down at the table and blocked Bezos.

Trump, however, seems to think everything went well. He wrote on Truth Social Thursday morning: EVERYONE WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND!!!
