PDIP fires Jokowi, Ganjar asks executives to follow rules
Yogyakarta –
Chairman of the PDIP DPP Ganjar Pranowo delivered a message to all cadres regarding the dismissal of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Ganjar asked all cadres to follow the rules.
“Follow the rules and orders,” he reportedly said detikYogaFriday (12/20/2024).
It is known that the PDIP also fired dozens of other cadres, including Jokowi's eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Jokowi's son-in-law, Bobby Nasution.

This incident, he said, should serve as a lesson to other executives. Besides Jokowi, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Bobby Nasution were also fired from PDIP.
Ganjar then made an analogy with Jokowi as a worker. He said everyone who works in a company must obey the rules of that company.
“It's impossible for you to join other media, right? You have to follow the policy, right? If you don't follow (the policy of the media you work in), what 'does this mean?' Ganjar told reporters.
Ganjar also pointed out that Jokowi did not follow the PDIP's internal rules. “Obviously not, brother. Obviously I'm not playing by the rules, right,” Ganjar said.
The former Central Java governor also explained the reason why PDIP only fired Jokowi after he was no longer president.
“Everything has been calculated. Ms. Mega is a very consistent person. So she once said, 'We will support it until it is completed.' That is why, once it is completed, take action,” said Ganjar.
According to Ganjar, the dismissal carried out after Jokowi was no longer president was a form of consistency from Mega. As well as respect for the Jokowi government at the time.
“It is his respect, his consistency in his 100 percent support for the Jokowi government,” he said.
“If sending him back to the middle of the road is still in power, maybe other people's interpretations and maybe people will also say 'ah, not consistent'. Bu Mega shows this consistency. It's respect for him,” he concluded.
Known, reported Détik NewsPDIP issued a decision letter regarding the dismissal of Jokowi, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Bobby Nasution and 27 other party cadres. They are no longer cadres of the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party.
