The Prime Minister
is visiting Kuwait at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. During his visit, Modi will meet Kuwait's top leaders, including the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister. These meetings are expected to strengthen bilateral ties in multiple sectors such as trade, investment, energy, culture and community relations.
He will also attend the opening ceremony of the Gulf Cup football tournament and address the Indian community at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex during the 'Hala Modi' event. This evening, I will interact with the Indian community and also attend the inauguration ceremony of the Arabian Gulf Cup, PM Modi wrote.
The Prime Minister added that this visit will further strengthen and strengthen the special ties and bonds of friendship between the people of the two countries.
The visit is expected to open a new chapter in India-Kuwait relations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA). While speaking at the special briefing on the visit, MEA Secretary (CPV and OIA) Arun Kumar Chatterjee gave a brief background and highlighted the strong relations between the countries.
