Armenia to evacuate its citizens from Türkiye through Georgia

Naghdalyan said that around 100 Armenian citizens residing in Türkiye contacted the Foreign Ministry. According to her, the ministry will finance the transportation of 70 Armenian citizens to their country via Georgia.
She said that upon arrival in Armenia, they would be quarantined for 14 days. The transport has been agreed with the competent services of Georgia and Turkey, whose assistance is invaluable, the spokesperson said.
Anna Naghdalyan refused to comment on reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he was ready to help Armenia in the form of medicine in the fight against COVID-19. Erdogan reportedly expressed this wish during a telephone conversation with the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Bishop Sahak Mashalyan.
