Integrating unique Indonesian data into the Bangka Belitung Provincial Government, creating accurate and efficient data

In the ever-growing digital age, the need for accurate, up-to-date and integrated data has become very important.
President Joko Widodo has highlighted the importance of data integration across all sectors of the Indonesian government. Through a policy passed on June 12, 2019, namely Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 39 of 2019 regarding One Data Indonesia, President Joko Widodo tasked One Data Indonesia to manage and integrate various data within the government in order to increase the effectiveness of policy making.

The implementation of One Data Indonesia involves many sectors at the government level to manage various sector data as a reference in government implementation, especially in developing policies to achieve sustainable development, Golden Indonesia 2045.
Based on Article 1(1) of Presidential Decree Number 39 of 2019, One Data Indonesia is the government's data management policy aimed at producing accurate, timely, integrated and accountable data, as well as easy to access and use between central authorities. According to the website bappenas.go.id, in 2022, the One Data Indonesia (SDI) portal functions as a nationwide data sharing platform through information and communication technologies.
