Jokowi said after entering the world's most corrupt figures OCCRP: Evil Framing
KOMPAS.com – Former President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, said that there were slanders and malicious remarks regarding the announcement that he was included in the list of the most corrupt people in the world according to the Organize Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).
Jokowi's name is on the list of finalists for Person of the Year 2024 in the organizational crime and corruption category according to OCCRP, a non-profit organization based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
OCCRP is seeking nominations from readers, journalists, judges and other members of the organization's global network to summarize finalists for the 2024 Person of the Year title in the organizational crime and corruption category.

Responding to OCCRP's nomination, Jokowi chose to give a casual response.
“What was corrupt? Yes, what was proven,” Jokowi said with a laugh when met at his home in Banjarsari District, Solo City, Central Java (Java central), Tuesday (2/31/2024).
The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia also said that there were a lot of slander and slander directed against him.
“Yeah, what, what else? There's a lot of slander now, a lot of malicious framing. A lot of accusations without any proof. That's what's happening now, isn't it,” explained Jokowi.
However, when asked about the possibility of political content in the results vote Jokowi requested that these allegations be addressed directly to OCCRP member parties.
