Washington — President-elect Donald Trump will hold a rally-style event Jan. 19 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., just before his inauguration, according to several sources familiar with the planning.

Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards basketball team and the Washington Capitals hockey team, can accommodate approximately 20,000 attendees. The “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET, according to a registration link from the Trump-Vance inaugural committee.

Trump is expected to be sworn in for a second term on January 20.

Since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in November's presidential election, Trump has made personnel selections to serve in his second administration.
