PM Modi inaugurates Swabhiman Apartments for residents of JJ clusters in Ashok Vihar, Delhi

New Delhi [India]January 3 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed 1,675 apartments for the residents of JJ clusters and also handed over keys to eligible beneficiaries of Swabhiman apartments in Ashok Vihar, Delhi.
Before the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi also inspected newly constructed apartments for residents of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters under the in-situ slum rehabilitation project.
PM Modi also interacted with the beneficiaries who expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for receiving the keys to the newly constructed flats of Swabhiman Apartment.
Citing a beneficiary, the BJP said in a post on social media platform kept his promise!

The objective of the project is to provide residents of JJ clusters in Delhi with a better and healthier living environment with appropriate amenities and facilities, a press release said. For every Rs 25 lakh spent on construction of an apartment by the government, eligible beneficiaries pay less than 7 percent of the total amount, comprising Rs 1.42 lakh as nominal contribution and Rs 30,000 for five years of interview.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also virtually inaugurated two urban redevelopment projects – World Trade Center at Nauroji Nagar and GPRA Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, CBSE Integrated Office Complex at Dwarka and also laid the foundation stone of Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh.
On the occasion, Delhi's LG VK Saxena said, “Today, Prime Minister Modi will hand over the keys of apartments to residents living in slums… All these houses have been built according to the vision of our Prime Minister … These apartments have elevators. , parks for children to play and all kinds of facilities…” (ANI)
