PTI team expected to meet Imran Khan in jail today: Rana Sanaullah

Rana Sanaullah, political affairs advisor to the prime minister, said a negotiating team is expected to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan soon.

During a talk show on a private news channel, Sanaullah expressed optimism over the dialogues with the PTI negotiating team as they are likely to share the charter of demands with the government team in the week to come.

The senior PML-N leader claimed that if the PTI had shared the written demands earlier, the government would have consulted on the matter.

The Prime Minister's adviser claimed that the PTI had the support of Indian and Jewish lobbies, saying Pakistan was a sovereign country and it would not kneel down to anyone.

The PTI talks committee will meet the party founder in jail to discuss his demands, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is also expected to visit the jail.
