Later, Khan, while interacting with journalists at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, said he was “indirectly approached” with an offer to shift him to his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad.

Khan is currently incarcerated in Adiala Prison since August 2023.

“My position is clear: first release my detained workers and managers. Only then will I consider discussing my personal situation,” he said on X.

The former prime minister further said that he believed that Pakistan's decisions should be taken within the country.
