Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) chief Syed Hamid Raza said on Saturday that negotiations could only move forward if the government allows a meeting with Imran Khan.

Expressing his thoughts, Raza said: “It is up to the government to take the negotiations forward. The negotiating committee is expected to meet the PTI founder by Monday or Tuesday.

“We can only give the date of the third round of negotiations after consulting the PTI founder.”

Meanwhile on Friday, PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan while expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV show 'Do Tok with Kiran Naz' said, “If the verdict is given against PTI founder Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust affair, then this will impact the negotiations.

Khan said: “The talks are moving forward, so we must remain optimistic.”

“The negotiating committee is planning to hold another meeting with the PTI founder,” he added.
