Bushra Bibi bans lawyers from communicating with Imran Khan: report – Pakistan

Bushra Bibi, the wife of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has started intervening not only in the party's political affairs but also in its legal affairs, a private news channel reported on Saturday.

She made changes within the legal teams, particularly among the lawyers associated with the Insaf Lawyers Forum, we add.

Many ministers said there were conflicts within the PTI over leadership. When asked what her role will be after the rally, she said the PTI founder had given the responsibility to her wife after workers have a trust deficit in the leaders.

The private news channel, citing sources, claimed that the former first lady had requested a list of lawyers from lawyer Qazi Anwar, who, along with Mashaal Yousafzai, would report to her on legal matters.
