ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday rejected claims that the government offered to transfer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to his Bani Gala residence from Jail 'Adiala.

“There is no truth in such statements,” the minister told the media while accusing the PTI of promoting a policy of destruction in the country.

He also criticized the PTI founder for urging overseas Pakistanis to stop sending remittances, saying all tactics of Imran Khan's party have failed in the last two and a half years.

Overseas Pakistanis were sending money home every month, he said while rejecting his idea of ​​incentivizing expatriates to stop remittances. He said those giving advice to the PTI founder lack basic understanding.

Asif said efforts were being made to bring political stability in the country and added that all economic indicators were positive.

The minister pointed out that Pakistan had opened the air traffic route by sending its flight to Europe. He added that 19 air operations would be launched to different European countries.
