PM Modi to visit France in February
Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a state visit to France and then attend the AI summit to be held here in February, President Emmanuel Macron said.
France will host the AI Summit on February 11 and 12, a summit for action, which will discuss artificial intelligence, Macron said.
Prime Minister Modi will be there immediately after the state visit to our country. This (the AI Summit) will allow us to have a dialogue with all the powers, the IEA, the United States, China and big nations like… India which has a role to play as well than the Gulf States, he said.

During the November 2024 meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the India-France strategic partnership as well as their shared vision of bilateral cooperation and international partnership, outlined in the Horizon 2047 roadmap and others bilateral declarations.
They welcomed the progress made in bilateral cooperation, particularly in strategic areas such as defence, space and civil nuclear energy, and committed to further accelerating it with a view to strengthening their common commitment to strategic autonomy, the MEA said.
The two leaders welcomed strengthening trade, investment and technology ties, particularly in the areas of digital technology and artificial intelligence, as well as the India-France partnership on digital public infrastructure, the MEA said , adding: In this context, the Prime Minister welcomed President Macron's initiative to organize the next action summit on AI in France,
EuroNews.com said last week that the AI action summit in France comes after the UK and South Korea hosted the first AI events, bringing together heads of state, international organizations as well as businesses.
The French AI Action Summit, to be held on February 10-11, aims to present Europe as the “first AI continent”, Euronews said, citing minutes of telecommunications attachés of the block he consulted.
