Apparently not. Several former governors of DKI Jakarta were asked about their views, namely Sutiyoso, Fauzi Bowo, Anies Baswedan and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok).
Pramono said former Jakarta governors, including Jokowi, had been involved as contributors before being officially sworn in.
“In fact, this transition team will seek the opinions of people who have been governors of Jakarta. Not only Mas Anies and Pak Ahok, but also Pak Foke (Fauzi Bowo), Pak Sutiyoso (Bang Yos), even Pak Jokowi, we let's just ask,” Pramono said at Banteng Square, Central Jakarta, Saturday (1/11/2025).
He said the 14 names in the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno transition team were professionals with expertise in the designated areas. The transition team's operating costs come from his personal pocket.
