Discussing developments in the £190 million case, Senator Faisal Vawda predicted that Imran Khan would likely be found guilty in the case.

“Even though the dates may change, the verdict will not change,” he said.

The senator also said a scandal would erupt on January 22, warning that failure to address it could result in legal action and imprisonment for those involved.

Speaking on a private television show, Vawda said: “I myself am part of this scandal. If this continues, we will challenge it legally. If the government tries to have it adopted by force, he risks prison.”

He also expressed doubts over the outcome of negotiations between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the talks expected to gain momentum after January 20 may not yield positive results for the party .

Criticizing the PTI's past decisions, Vawda highlighted the heroin case against Rana Sanaullah, calling it a “petty and unjustified” move.

“I strongly opposed it,” he said, adding that the party's current engagement with the government raised questions.

Vawda concluded on a mixed note, expressing hope for Pakistan's future while expressing concerns about the trajectory of the PTI.
