Adies Kadir says there was no discussion between Jokowi and Gibran joining Golkar party
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – General Chairman of the Mutual Cooperation Families Conference (MKGR) Adies Kadir said that until now there have been no discussions within the Golkar Party regarding the accession of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to the Golkar Party.
This was confirmed by Adies Kadir, who is a Golkar party cadre, on Friday, Saturday (17/1/2025). “Not yet,” Adies Kadir said.

Nevertheless, Adies Kadir said, the Golkar party would be grateful if Jokowi and Gibran agreed to join it.
“Yes, thank God I joined, but there hasn’t been any discussion yet,” he said.
Adies emphasized, as stated by Golkar Party General Secretary M Sarmuji and General Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, that the Golkar Party is a party open to accepting anyone who wants to join. Especially if those who want to join the Golkar party are national figures.
“The general secretary has always said this, our general president also said that Golkar is an open party. “So we accept everyone who wants to join the Golkar party,” Adies said.
