PTI uses 'religion' to protect Imran after verdict: Tarar – Journal

LAHORE: Federal and provincial ministers belonging to the PML-N have justified the punishment meted out to ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, with Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claiming that the PTI was trying to use the religious card to defend itself after the historic verdict of 190 million cases.

Mr Tarar, Punjab Chief Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari spoke in separate press conferences on Saturday, boasting that the PTI founder had finally met his fate .
