Turkish President Erdogan condemns Israel's ceasefire violations
(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday commented on Israel's history of ceasefire violations, calling on global society to stop further violations following the Gaza ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
“Israel, especially (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu, has a significant record of ceasefire violations, this should not be allowed this time (in Gaza),” Erdogan said at his party's provincial congress in Adana, in the south of Trkiye.
He condemned the 467-day Israeli attack on Gaza, which left more than 47,000 people dead, and said: “Despite 467 days of genocide and massacres, Israel has failed to break the will to resist of our brothers and sisters from Gaza.
Erdogan confirmed Trkiy's desire to hold perpetrators of conflict crimes in Palestine accountable. “Our efforts to hold perpetrators of war and crimes against humanity accountable, one by one, will continue to intensify,” he said.
Trkiye will mobilize by all means to heal Gaza's wounds during the ceasefire, Erdogan also said.
