Fiji PM praises PM Modi

Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka on Wednesday effusively congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him the true “boss” of the world.
In a meeting with Satnam Singh Sandhu, Rajya Sabha member and president of the Federation of Indian Minorities (IMF), and Himani Sood, co-founder of the IMF, in Fiji, Rebuka said Prime Minister Modi was one of the major world leaders.
Praising Prime Minister Modi for his 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' mantra to ensure that everyone grows and prospers together, the Fiji Prime Minister said, “I believe Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is a great role model of governance that Prime Minister Modi practices and which guarantees inclusive development for all. I think the world should embrace it to make it a better place to live. »
The Prime Minister of Fiji added: “My friend (Prime Minister Modi) was re-elected (as Prime Minister) after our meeting (in 2023), so congratulations again and I would like to make sure he gets the message that Fiji is still there. “
The Fijian Prime Minister further said that Prime Minister Modi has become an icon of peace and Hindus across the world.
“Having the trust of Indians is a big number. So I congratulate him. Unity in this journey of Hindus in the world will ultimately translate into unity of the people of the world,” he said.
Notably, a 21-member delegation comprising representatives from 10 different countries is currently visiting Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh. The international delegation includes representatives from Fiji, Finland, Guyana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Arab Emirates ( WATER).
Earlier in 2023, Prime Minister Modi had met Rabuka in Port Moresby, during his visit to Fiji. On behalf of Fijian President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, Prime Minister Rabuka awarded Prime Minister Modi the highest honor of the Republic of Fiji – the Companion of the Order of Fiji (CF).
Notably, this is not the first time that a world leader has hailed Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Former Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had called him (Modi) Boss. The US President had described Prime Minister Modi as a fantastic and powerful leader globally and expressed a desire to take his autograph. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had described Prime Minister Modi as the world's most loved.
