Imran Khan demands meeting with negotiating team, Salman Akram

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has called for an immediate meeting with the negotiating team to address the current political situation, ARY News reported.

According to reports, Salman Akram Raja said that PTI founder Imran Khan believes that the negotiations are crucial to clarify the events of May 9 and November 26.

Imran Khan stressed that these talks should not be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness but as a necessary step towards understanding the political turmoil surrounding the PTI.

Salman Akram Raja also confirmed that letters to the judiciary had been prepared, with copies sent to Adiala jail for Imran Khan's signature.

Further, Raja revealed that on the request of PTI chief Ali Amin Gandapur, Junaid Akbar was given a new organizational responsibility in the province. Aaliya Hamza will also be given a key role, with an official notification to follow soon.

Raja further explained that PTI intends to present documents related to the events of May 9 and November 26 to the public.

The move, according to Raja, is aimed at exposing the facts surrounding these incidents and strengthening the PTI's position.

According to Raja, Imran Khan also reiterated that the party would not back down from his mandate, which they said had been unfairly taken away from them.

Imran Khan's call for negotiations is part of a broader strategy to engage with other political parties.

Salman Akram Raja revealed that the PTI was working towards forming a broader political council or jirga to discuss the party's grievances and strengthen its influence in Pakistan's political framework.
