Strengthening Services, Honda Holds National Skills Competition for Technicians and Susterants
Mobilinanews (Jakarta) -Tarting in 2025, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) held a National Honda Skills Competition 2025 for the 19th time, on January 21-22, 2025 at PT HPM Training Center, Jakarta.
This annual competition was attended by salespeople, service technicians, service advisors, parts staff and customer care agents from all official Honda dealerships in Indonesia to test skills and improve the quality of consumer services.
Before reaching the national level, the selection was carried out at five main Honda dealerships in charge of all official dealerships in Indonesia.
In the national final stage, up to 81 finalists from 44 dealers participated in various categories, including 18 salespeople for the sales consultant and sales instructor subcategory, 45 technicians from general repair technicians, maintenance technicians pairs and service advisors.
In addition, there are also 9 spare parts people and 9 customer service people participating in this competition, which shows their ability to take care and manage variations of vehicle parts.
Director of Sales and Marketing and After Sales of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Yusak Billy said that the Honda National Skill Contest is an important event to measure and improve HR readiness to provide the best services to consumers.
“Through this competition, we hope to continue to improve service standards, both in sales and after-sales at all Honda dealerships,” said Billy in Jakarta.
In the salesperson category, participants are tested through written tests and simulations to measure product understanding and customer service skills. Meanwhile, in the services category, technicians compete in general repair, pair maintenance and service advisory expertise.
In the spare parts category, participants are tested in controlling Honda spare parts, while in the customer service agent category, participants simulate various customer service scenarios, ranging from answering customers' questions products to customer complaint management with professionals.
Through this competition, Honda continues to be committed to improving service standards across all dealerships, ensuring the best experience for consumers in Indonesia.
