Akbar has announced that the party would use its own resources for the February 8 demonstration.

He revealed that when he had been appointed provincial president by the party founder, he had suggested bringing someone who was in good terms with chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

“However, my suggestion was ignored, and I was told that I should not teach Imran Khan on PTI's policy,” he observed.

Akbar said he had risen from the basic level and knew each person in the party. He said he could convince anyone to follow him.

“I will resign as president if I didn't hold my words,” said Akbar. He also reiterated his commitment to end the culture of the sale of party posts for money.

He also declared that someone had approached him with a donation offer of 500 million rupees for the demonstration of February 8, but that he had refused him as those who invested money in the party often engaged in corruption and transactions based on the commission.

“How can we stop corruption if we take money from investors?”, Akbar interrogated.

He added that he had not received any instruction from Imran Khan for a new organizational configuration in the province and planned to meet Khan after the February 8 demonstration.

He stressed that existing PTI organizations would continue to operate until it receives other instructions. Akbar also announced that he would not set targets for elected members to bring people to the February 8 demonstration, but rather encourage them to contribute as much as they could.

Akbar also stressed the importance of sincerity and transparency within the party, declaring that the culture of investing money to earn power would no longer be tolerated.

He recalled the oppression of PTI workers after May 9 and swore to make an example of officials.
