President Donald Trump bought a Tesla in support of Elon Musk and said she would be used in the White House.

President Donald Trump posed for photos next to a line of Tesla vehicles in front of the White House on Tuesday after saying earlier on social networks that he would buy a “demonstration of confidence and support for Elon Musk”.

“I think he was treated very unfairly by a very small group of people, and I just want people to know that he cannot be penalized to be a patriot,” Trump told the media.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla, was a large part of the efforts of Trump administrations to make major reductions in federal workforce as unofficial leader of the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
