UMY officially inaugurated 5 vice-Chancellor for 2025 2029
Yogyakarta, suara muhammadiyah -In an effort to strengthen his commitment to create positive changes, the Chancellor of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) Prof. Doctor Achmad Nurmandi, M.SC inaugurated five new vice-chancellers with a mandate of 2025-2029. Doctor Zuly Qodir, M.AG as assistant chancellor for education and student affairs; Doctor Med. Doctor Supriyatantingsih, Sp.OG., M.Kes. as vice-chancellor for research, innovation and downstream; Prof. Doctor Dyah Muarin, M.Sc., as a vice-chancellor of resources; Ir. Slamet Riyadi, ST, M.SC., PH.D as assistant chancellor for quality, reputation and partnership; and the teacher. Faris Al – Fadhat, MA, PH.D as a deputy chancellor for the development of the university and Islam Kemuhammadiyan. Umy Chancellor also installed Dr. Bachtiar Dwi Kurniawan, s.fil.i., MPA as a university secretary, including the term 2025 – 2029.
During the inauguration ceremony for the assistant Chancellor of the UMY for the mandate from 2025 to 2029, which was held Tuesday (11/03) in the audience room of the 5th floor, Ar Fachruddin B Building, Umy Integrated Campus, Nurmandi declared that a particular agency was UMY as one of the PTMA (Muhammadiyah Higher Education and Aisyiya Integrator).
“In an organizational cycle like Umy, we always need leaders with type E (entrepreneur). Managers with this type of entrepreneur are someone who has made many unique breakthroughs and innovations that had never been done before. This is important for us as PTS (private higher education) because UMY explores our own resources despite the government's help, “said Nurmandi.
Of the four types of people Nurmandi estimates that the five vice-chancellors and the university secretary appointed, each of them has a value of entrepreneur which is his superiority. Even supplementing with three other types which are of course also held by each vice-chancellor.
