PTI ministers, the deputies hold the protest to the press for the release of Imran – Journal

Peshawar: The provincial ministers and legislators in Pakistan in power Tehreek-I-Insaf set up a promenade from the Superior Court of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Peshawar Court on Tuesday, demanding the release of the imprisonous founder of the Imran Khan parties, by granting her reserved seats and holding the Senate elections in the province.

The ministers included Meena Khan Afridi, Dr. Amjid Ali, Qasim Ali Shah, Arshed Ayub, Abdul Kareem Khan and several amps and carriers of PTI offices.

They held banners and signs registered with slogans demanding the release of Imran Khan. Members of the cabinet and legislators also chanted slogans against the federal government.

Speaking of Mediapersons outside the High Court, the Minister of Higher Education, Meena Khan Afridi, said that the aim of their protest was to put pressure on the federal government for three major requests.

Our first request is the immediate release of their Imran Khan chief, his spouse Bushra Bibi and other party leaders and workers, he said, adding that everyone had been put behind bars without any crime or justification.

He declared that their second request was to grant PTI the seats reserved for the Provincial Assembly and its share of KP in the National Assembly in accordance with the Supreme Court.

Meena Khan said the refusal of seats reserved for PTI in the assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was a violation of the Constitution, adding in the absence of reserved seats, the provincial legislature was incomplete.

The minister said his third request held polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because without doing it in a unit unit, the upper room of the Parliament was incomplete.

He also asked the judiciary to issue directives for the implementation of his decisions and ordinances concerning the reserved seats and held elections in the Senate.

The High Court of Peshawar ordered the Pakistan Electoral Commission to decide with a clear order within 60 days of the Senate polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Speaking to Dawn, Meena Khan Afridi said that a full -fledged and intensive protest movement was launched for the release of Imran Khan shortly after Eidul Fitr. He said PTI also made efforts to form a great opposition alliance against the federal government. He became hard on the authorities concerned not to have allowed an equitable trial of Imran Khan.

Speaking in Mediapersons, the Minister of the Housing Department, Dr. Amjid Ali, said that in addition to their three major requests, the objective of their protest was to exhibit certain districts, which had high of the magistracy, the electoral commission and other institutions of the country. We wanted to inform the public of the actions of these circles, he said.

The Minister also asked the judiciary to decide on the Imran Khan affair and other PTI leaders to merit.

He criticized the role of ECP before and after the previous general elections. The ECP is a biased institution working against the PTI, he said, adding first that the ECP torn off its electoral symbol of Bat of PTI and then disqualified several PTI leaders, which were then restored by the courts.
