Proctor asks Trump a piece of national forest in Apalachicola

Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor wrote President Donald Trump asking him to give part of the National Foalachicola forest to the county so that he can be opened to development.

In a letter from Tuesday to the president, Proctor said that transmitting ownership to the county would promote local economic growth for the next 200 years.
