As Trump is redoing America, where is Congress?

During his first weeks in power, Donald Trump implemented a shock and fear strategy to revise the American government and its foreign policy. Notable changes include the closure of long -standing executive agencies, including USAID and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Other upheavals of large tickets include the planned closure of the Ministry of Education, the freezing of most foreign aid, the taxation of prices to the nearby allies and the suspension of military aid to Ukraine, although this last plan was reversed after the signing of a cease-fire agreement on March 11.

Almost all of its policies have been promulgated by decrees, without involvement of the congress.

While the White House was busy redoing the US government, the congress focused on confirmation of Trump Cabinet's appointments and trying to spend a budgetary extension which reflects the priorities of administrations.
