Nicola Sturgeon did not divide Scotland. The union did this

Unfortunately, it seems ironic that those who have had the chance to have goods, which have well-remunerated jobs, generally remain healthy without physical or mental disabilities and avoid independence, claim not having experienced improvements in their lives while a large number through the United Kingdom suffer from the debilitating effects of a union which fails most of the democratically, economically and socially. Of course, if those who financially supported Brexit (now backing reform UK) and the barons of the influential British media had not supported the maintenance of the constitutional status quo, after more than a decade, Scotland would have closer links with the EU and would be a more prosperous country in favor of most of its citizens.

Those Who Would Seek to Denigrate Nicola Sturgeon and Dispores Her Achievements (Such As Advancement of the Role of Women in Politics and Other Spheres of Scottish Life While Always Seeking to Progress the Lives of the Poorest and Most Disad Etourd in our Society) by Scurruritage the Scottish Overwhelming support, across all games, for a gender recognition reform bill to reduce the traumatic experience of a tiny the minority (as already introduced in neighboring European countries) should be ashamed.

The indisputable talents of Nicola Sturgeons will not provide a dignified heritage unless they can now focus on the inhabitants of Scotland to determine their own future.

A toxic performance

What toxic performance of Russell Findlay to the Prime Minister's questions when he launched a bitter and twisted attack on Nicola Sturgeon (“Sturgeon makes fun of the criticism of” failure “in Holyrood”, HeraldScotland, March 13). No credit granted to women who, among many other initiatives, has introduced the payment of Scottish children and the baby box, put in the prescription fees and free child care. And it is Ms. Sturgeon who held day after day at the day after the day in Covid, keeping us informed and encouraging us in a very dangerous and frightening situation.

Mr. Findlay must reflect on the file of his own government in Westminster: years of austerity, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss, the conservative governments of Scotland never voted. By listening to Mr. Findlay's rant, it is obvious that he is determined to maintain the description of the conservatives as the bad party.

Sarwar's tribute is a parody

As if it was not serious enough to have MSP SNPs which are addressed to Nicola Sturgeon when she announces her retirement from Holyrood, we now have the non -edifying scene of Anas Sarwar paying tribute to her “Passion for Glasgow and Scotland” (“Nicola Sturgeon opens with her heritage, her regrets and her future”, HeraldScotland, March 12). This is a parody. After her resignation as a Prime Minister in February 2023, Ms. Sturgeon hardly deigned to attend Holyrood as MSP for her Glasgow district, being too busy writing her memoirs and swinging around book festivals. His “passion” has still not been for Scotland and the Scottish, but for Scottish secession and his own career, and more recently for having favored the so-called trans women on biological women, despite the pretender to be a “feminist with my fingers”.

Ms. Sturgeon presided over a drop in quality of life in Scotland, the standards of education falling and the Scottish NHS collapse. Transport, housing and police, other important responsibilities, also suffered from negligence during her reign, while trying a tribune on the world scene (without success). The tragedy of death care during the pandemic should haunt her for the rest of her life, performing herself when she, without medical expertise, has set up the spotlights of her daily briefings.

I suppose that the ultimate tribute to his mandate would be if the SNP selected a trans woman to claim a place reserved for a woman candidate on her MSP list.

A disastrous heritage

Nicola Sturgeon's decision will be greeted by many, and in particular by women. I will be sure that I am too much to hope that she is navigating quietly at sunset (of course not on a ferry) and plans that we should never leave the ability to replace the ambition.

A reverse midas touch

A farewell not so solid to Nicola Sturgeon. His departure from Scottish policy will be greeted by many. What is his inheritance? Scotland is more divided than it has never been since perhaps the Middle Ages. Education takes place at an alarming rate. The economy is in difficulty in the marsh to support a bill on the public sector of advantages and a little complaint which has already adopted the level impossible to maintain.

Incredibly, even with its plethora of broken promises, its inverted midas touch and its disastrous contribution to the controversy on sexual / gender identification, it has kept a good part of the SNP army of harsh extremists which are determined to break the United Kingdom and nothing else, nothing, which matters to them.

Ms. Sturgeon left the country she claims to love in tatters. However, on a personal level, she will laugh to the bank.

My parents and their generation, born over 100 years ago, had a sentence for the sturgeons of this world: “Where do they get these folk folk”?

Words often cross my mind when I think of it and Slaters, Harcia, Yousafs and Greers of this ilk.

The workforce strikes the working class

At the time of the Prime Minister's questions this week, the very honorable commander of Sir Keir Starmer Knight commander of the order of Bath defended the attack on his government against our social protection system with its probable catastrophic consequences for disabled people and long -term health problems. He said he “inherited a broken system” and “is indefensible, economically and morally”.

Let me say to Sir Keir, you must understand that what is “indefensible, economically and morally” is to pay large sums of money in the upgrade of the nuclear arsenal controlled by the United States and to throw more and more our limited resources in a war in Ukraine, all to the detriment of the poorest and the weakest of our population. It is ashamed that the Labor Party that I support and that I work has evolved so far to the right that it now undermines the quality of life of the working class which it formerly defended.

I am grateful that the Scottish government intends to alleviate the erosion of the standard of life of all by continuing support for the poorest and weakest of us and will continue to oppose the presence of nuclear weapons in our country. Unfortunately, I do not expect it to remember the tide forever and I believe that in the long term, our best hope is to reject the chains that bind us in an abusive relationship with the toxic union.
