A CGTN survey of 15,574 people in 40 countries and regions, published in March 2023, revealed that 80.3% considered several civilizations as beneficial for global development, 85% believed in the construction of a common future through tolerance and cooperation, while 89.6% call for higher dialogue and opening, going to 93.7% in developing countries.

Actions speak more than words

China is not only a defender, but also a real practitioner.

In November 2023, Beijing welcomed the first global conference of the classics, where more than 400 experts embarked on discussions on conventional civilizations. The conference was a platform to encourage nations to draw the wisdom from ancient traditions, promoting greater mutual understanding. Since then, China has organized international forums such as the Nishan Forum on World CIVILIZATIONS and the International Conference on Chinese language, which bring together researchers, political decision -makers and cultural experts to explore shared values.

Cultural preservation is one of the main aspects of China's commitment to the initiative. The Central Axis of Beijing, a historic architectural complex dating from the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368), was officially registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2024. The same year, the Chinese Spring Festival was added to the UNESCO representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. These milestones underline the dedication of China to safeguard and to promote its rich cultural heritage on the world scene.

The country explores and actively promoted elements of traditional Chinese culture, bringing its charm to the world scene.
