PM Modiforeign Trips:Thursday, March 20, the central government revealed that near Rs 258 Core had been spent for the 38 foreign visits to Prime Minister Narendra modified between May 2022 and December 2024. He also asked for details on the visit to spending on major leaders such as hotel arrangements, community receptions, transport agreements and other various expenses, among others.
According to data, an expense of RS 22,89.68,509 was incurred during the Prime Minister's visit to the United States in June 2023, while the expenses incurred were at Rs 15,33,76,348 during the September 2024 visit to the same country.
The tabuated data concerned 38 visits, from May 2022, visit in Germany to the visit of Kuwait in December 2024. According to data related to the visit of Japan of the PM in May 2023, the expenses incurred were from Rs 17,19.33 356 while the same thing was 80.01,483 of RS in May 2022.
The minister in his response also shared certain corresponding data for years before 2014.
“For reference purposes, the expenses of the Prime Minister's foreign visits were earlier at 10.74,27,363 (United States, 2011), 9,95,76,890 INR (Russia, 2013), 8.33,49,463 INR (France, 2011) and 6.02,23,484 of the INR show real fluctuations,” he said.
