Trump revokes access to classified documents for Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and Biden officials

President Donald Trump in a memo on Friday evening canceled any existing security authorization and access to classified information for the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the former vice-president Kamala Harris and various other officials.

“I determined that it is no longer in the national interest in the following persons to access classified information,” said the executive memo. “I direct by this each executive department and agency manager to take all the necessary additional measures and in accordance with the existing law to revoke the active security authorizations held by the above -mentioned persons and to immediately cancel their access to classified information.”

The representatives of Harris and Clinton did not immediately send a request for comments on Friday evening.

The memo also indicates that people named 15 in all will not have access to classified briefings or the possibility of accessing the facilities of the American government secure without escort.

Other people named in the directive include former representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former national security advisor Jake Sullivan and the New York Prosecutor Letitia James. It also applies to all members of the Biden family.

Many people of Trump's note note have already revoked this month by the director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

The State Department indicated in 2018 that Clinton, who had lost against Trump in the 2016 presidential election, was withdrawn from the security authorization that year, at his request. We do not know if his authorization was reinstated later.

Trump said in February that he had the access to former President Joe Biden to intelligence information.

Earlier this week, Trump said he was putting the protection of secret services for the two adult children from Biden: Hunter and Ashley Biden.

Among the first measures that Trump took in January was canceled the security authorization of at least 50 former intelligence officials who signed a letter during the 2020 campaign suggesting the content of a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden had the classic brands of a Russian information operation.
