Imrans releases possible if he apologizes for May 9: Rana Sana

Islamabad: The adviser of the Prime Ministers on political affairs Rana Sanaullah said that the release of the Imran Khans founder from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) is possible if he offers unreserved excuses for the events of May 9, 2023 which saw military installations be vandalized through the country in the programs triggered after his arrest in a case of transplant.

Addressing Saleem Safi in the Geo News Jirga program, Sanaullah said that Imran Khan had pushed the country into a political dead end, believing that he could provoke a revolution through his actions. But no, there is no chances of revolution. Only political difficulties will lead to victory here, he said.

He excluded any possibility of success through Imrans methods, notably referring to the events from November 24 to 26, 2024, when the PTI walked to Islamabad.

When asked if the release of Imrans was possible if he apologized on May 9, Sanaullah replied: I think that if he apologizes on May 9, the talks can continue, or maybe we can speak.
