Kalimantan scout members can prioritize for a mast
ClickSamarinda The Kwartir Regional Scout Movement of East Kalimantan (Kwarda Kaltim) has officially established cooperation with the University of Mulawarman (UNMUL) to provide weighting or priorities to scout members who wish to continue their studies in tertiary establishments.
This cooperation aims to allow scout students to be able to enter more easily into state universities (PTN), in particular UNMUL.
Vice-president of the Kalimantan Kalimantan Planning and Development Division Muhammad Samsun said that at the time, his party was still focused on work with UNMUL.
However, according to him, this has not excluded the possibility of establishing partnerships with other universities in eastern Kalimantan.

This cooperation includes all the UNMUL majors and income channels, although the independent path is considered the most possible option because it complies with the university authority.
According to Samsun, UNMUL welcomed this initiative and even proposed other forms of cooperation in the field of education development.
One of them is the supply of a special certification for potential teachers of the teacher training and education faculty (FKIP) who will be a scout coach in schools.
Unmul hopes that this cooperation will not only be linked to new admissions to students, but also to the development of skills, such as major basic courses or major courses advanced for future teachers who will be scout coaches in schools, he explained.
Kwarda East Kalimantan took the initiative to facilitate members of application scouts who wanted to continue their studies at the tertiary level by paying particular attention to the university.

As part of the selection process, Kwarda East Kalimantan will recommend that scout members who have been active from primary, college and high school, and have special skills or achievements to register with the University through this priority channel.
