If the name is changed today, tomorrow, when someone else will govern the province, they also offer a new name,” warned Bilor.

Commenting on the issue, Mushtaq Afridi, a cricket player associated with sport for the past 20 years, said that if the Arbab Niaz stadium had been rebuilt 10 years ago today, new talents would have emerged in the championship games, international cricket and PSL. “The new batch of players could have been part of the national team,” said Afridi.

Likewise, the former Federal Minister of the PPP, arbab Alamper, was of the opinion that political parties should meet and unite to improve the situation of the law and the order in KP. “For the moment, the renamed of the old field in Peshawar will change regional policy. Earlier, Peshawar International Airport, officially known as Bacha Khan International Airport, was also proposed to be renamed as Imran Khan International Airport during the mandate of former chief minister Mehmood Khan. However, this decision was withdrawn after the objections of political parties, in particular the ANP. Likewise, the provincial government has faced similar criticism to rename it from the Nawaz Sharif renal hospital in Swat.

Ghumam Ali, former governor of KP and the head of the central committee based in Peshawar of the Jeu-F, condemned the renamed of the Stade Arbab Niaz. “The provincial government is expected to bring new plans and projects to the province. Instead of changing the name of the existing stadium, a new international land should be built, which will bring public recognition to the province,” Ali said.

It should be mentioned that LEEEMA KHAN, the sister of the founder of PTI, said that Imran Khan was not in favor of the change of the name of the Stade Arbab Niaz. For the moment, the provincial government has not withdrawn the notification for the change of name, the PPP has decided to go to court if this decision is not reversed.
