A Pakistan day gathering organized by the PTI met the resistance on Sunday while going to the Mazar-i-Quaid, according to a party statement.

During the rally, the participants made a sign from the Pakistani and PTI flags while singing slogans demanding the release of Imran Khan and criticizing the policies of governments, the statement said.

When he was contacted, the assistant inspector general of the South Police Syed Asad Raza told Dawn.com that the police had completed the Karachi Press Club for security reasons by parking buses on Sarwar Shaheed Road along others, and by erecting temporary barriers.
