Jakarta -The politician PDI-P M GUNTUR ROMLI responded to the meeting of the president of the PDI-P DPP PUAN MAHARANI with the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The meeting took place during an IFTAR event together at the Nasdem Tower, Central Jakarta, Friday March 21, 2025.
According to him, the meeting between Jokowi and Puan was normal. In addition, he said, Puan was invited to the IFTAR event together and did not know where Jokowi was.
“The usual meeting, because Mbak Puan was invited to the Iftar event, he did not know anyone present,” said Gunutur when he was contacted on Sunday (23/03/2025).
Nevertheless, said Gunutur, the president of the Indonesian parliament must be good and polite with the guests present, including Jokowi. For this reason, he considered, there was no personal problem between Puan and Jokowi.
“And meeting anyone must be good and polite, including with Jokowi. Here there are no personal problems,” said Gunutur.
But apart from that, Gunutur underlined the attitude of the Indonesian Democratic Party of the struggle which had drawn Jokowi from the management of the party. “But if you want to be seen from the official attitude of the party, Jokowi was dismissed from the Indonesian Democratic Party of the struggle,” concluded Gunutur.
Previously, the president of PDI Perjuangan DPP, Puan Maharani, said that the relationship between his party and the 7th president of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was still well established. According to him, there was no change in the relationship between the PDI -P Jokowi.
