The opposition questioned the silence of the party of Bharatiya Janata on the joke of Kunal Kamra on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while strongly reacting to his song Parody, even though the Mumbai police published a second assignment to the stand-up actress for the derogatory shinde on the Minister of Maharashtra.

The 36 -year -old standing actor was summoned to appear before the investigating officer of the Khar police station in the suburbs of Mumbai for a case filed on a complaint by the deputy of Shiv Sena Murji Patel.

The police issued the first assignment to Kunal Kamra on Tuesday, asking for his presence when the investigation into the defamation file against him began. Citing sources, PTI said that after receiving the opinion, the actor asked a week to appear before the police.

Meanwhile, the chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), Ambadas Danve, said on Wednesday that the BJP remained silent on the direct jibes of the actor Kunal Kamra to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi but reacted strongly to his parody song which did not mention Eknath Shinde by name.

Addressing journalists of the legislative complex after the budgetary session, Danve, the head of the opposition to the Maharashtra legislative council, said Kunal Kamra directly criticized Prime Minister Modi in his program, and the BJP did not take any offense. But the same party was indignant by a parody song that did not even name Shinde. It seems that the BJP uses Shinde as a front to target Kamra.

Why was Kunal Kamra summoned?

Without appointing Eknath Shinde, Kamra would have targeted the vice-minister in chief during her political career, including the 2022 rebellion against the Minister of the time, Uddhav Thackeray, who led to the fall of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

He interpreted a parody of a popular Hindi song from Dil in Pagal HaiApparently referring to Shinde as a dark (traitor). Kamra also joked about recent political developments in the Maharashtra, including the split in the SHIV SENA in 2022 and the NCP in 2023.

Sunday evening, the members of Shiv Sena vandalized the Habitat Comedy Club in Khar, where the Kamra show took place, as well as the hotel housing the place.

Based on a complaint from the deputy of Shiv Sena Murji Patel, the Khar police recorded a FIR against Kamra.

Police also filed a complaint against 40 SHIV SENA workers led by SHINDE for having harmed the room. On Monday, they arrested the official Shiv Sena Rahul Kanal and 11 others for vandalism. A local court granted them a deposit on the same day.
