Israels Netanyahu talks with Trump in Washington, DC | New policies

American media reports citing the names of the United States and the nameless Israeli claim that the meeting will take place at the White House on Monday.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will go to Washington, DC for interviews with US President Donald Trump on a series of questions, including prices and Iran, Netanyahus' office announced.

The agenda of the journey will include Turkiye-Israel relations, the Iranian threat, the current war of the Israel against Gaza, the prices and the fight against the International Criminal Court, the office of Israeli Prime Ministers said on Saturday.

American media reports citing the United States and anonymous Israeli officials said the meeting would take place in the White House on Monday.

Trumps' invitation came after a phone call Thursday between the two leaders. Netanyahu raised the issue of prices during the conversation. Israel faces a price of 17% under the prevailing of the so-called reciprocal rates.

Israel recently moved to cancel the remaining prices on American imports. The free trade agreement for the two countries, signed four decades ago, guarantees that around 98% of American goods enter the tax franchise of Israel.

Netanyahu is currently visiting Hungary during her first trip to Europe since 2023 in defiance of international criminal courts (ICC) to his arrest against him for alleged war crimes.

The Hungarian government announced its withdrawal from the ICC just before Prime Minister Viktor Orban welcomed his Israeli counterpart. The United States is not a member of the Court.

The agenda will also be blocked to conclude a new agreement on a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the return of Israeli captives which are held there by Palestinian groups. Israel renewed its attacks against Gaza last month, breaking a short -term truce with the Palestinian group Hamas.

Trump also put pressure on Iran to conclude talks on a new agreement concerning its nuclear program. Iran said it would be willing to hold indirect talks.
