PM speaks to Elon Musk before the entry of Tesla India, discusses technology, innovation
Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with Tesla and the CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk, reaffirming mutual interest to strengthen collaboration between India and the United States in the fields of technology and innovation. The conversation occurs at a time when Tesla would have explored opportunities to enter the Indian electric vehicle market.
Both discussed a wide range of subjects, based on their Washington DC meeting this year. The conversation highlighted the growing synergy between the rapidly evolving technological ecosystem of India and Musk companies in advanced innovation.
Sharing the details of the interaction on X, PM Modi wrote: “spoke to Elon Musk and spoke of various problems, including the subjects that we covered at our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense collaboration potential in the fields of technology and innovation. India remains to advance our partnerships with the United States in these areas.”
Prime Minister Modi met Elon Musk in February of this year during his two-day visit to the United States. The CEO of SpaceX was accompanied by its three children – X, Strider and Azure. During the meeting, Elon Musk offered PM Moda a Hexagonal Starship Heathhield Tile.
