SC refers to the Opportering Outline Affairs Affair to a regular bench

Islamabad: The Constitutional Banc (CB) of the Supreme Court (SC) referred the court to court on Thursday against the former Prime Minister and Founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, to a regular bench.

The CB decided that the case did not involve any constitutional question which requires an interpretation by the constitutional bench.

A constitutional bench of five members of the Supreme Court, led by Judge Aminuddin Khan and including judge Jamal Khan Mandokha, Judge Naeem Akhtar Afghan, judge Shakeel Ahmed and judge Aamir Farooq, heard the courtyard at the Court, filed by the federal government against Imran Khan.

During the procedure, judge Jamal Khan Mandokhel asked: Isn't the regular bench supposed to hear the case?

In agreement with judge Mandokhel, Salman Akram Raja, lawyer for the former Prime Minister, said that there was no constitutional question in this case. It would be better if you sent him to an ordinary bench.

Speaking on occasion, the additional prosecutor general said that in the case of the seats also reserved, the court had transmitted the case for an outrage to a regular bench. Therefore, the court sends it better to a regular bench.

In his petition deposited against Imran in June 2022 for having pretended to violate the judicial orders by extending the long kilometer drive from the road to four beyond the area designated at Avenue Jinnah, the government had argued that participants in the long walk blocked the roads, causing difficulties to citizens.
