JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) does not want to disclose when 7th President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) program to travel across Indonesia will begin.
“Wait,” said the general vice-president of the PSI Isyana Bagoes Oka met at DPP PSI, Jakarta, Tuesday (16/5/2026).

Isyana also rejected the phrase “political safari”, as has been reported so far.
He said, visit Jokowi in a number of areas simply to respond to public invitations.
“It’s more about how, as Mr. Jokowi said, respond to public invitations, including whether there are activities within the Indonesian Solidarity Party,” he said.
Isyana was also reluctant to comment further on the issue of Jokowi who will soon wear the PSI jacket and serve as chairman of the advisory council.
“We’re just going to wait until it’s ready,” he said.

Previously, it was reported that Jokowi planned to visit 38 provinces in Indonesia.
The planned political safari will begin in Lampung at the end of June 2026.

Besides Lampung, Jokowi will also visit East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Bestari Barus said Jokowi would serve on the PSI advisory board.

He said that the former governor of DKI Jakarta would let the public know that Jokowi was stable with the PSI.
“Mr. Jokowi is already at PSI, but of course the public needs to know more about Mr. Jokowi later, we hope this will tell the public: ‘I am now at PSI,'” he said.
This certainty is only a matter of waiting for the ceremony of handing over the jackets bearing the party symbol.
