A total of 285 people were ready to welcome Jokowi’s visit to Pringsewu.

PRINGSEWU, RADARMETRO.DISWAY.ID – Pringsewu Police alerted 285 personnel to secure the visit of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, which is scheduled to take place in Pringsewu Regency on Saturday, June 27, 2026. One of the main purposes of the visit is to review the activities of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Maliosewu to Pekon Bulukarto, Gadingrejo District.

The visit to Maliosewu is part of Joko Widodo’s three-day program in Lampung province. Considering the great enthusiasm of the expected people, the security forces have prepared integrated security measures to ensure that all activities take place safely, orderly and smoothly.

As preparation, the Pringsewu Police held a security rally and rehearsal in the Maliosewu area on Thursday (25/6/2026). This activity was led by Deputy Police Chief Pringsewu, Commissioner Samsuri and AKP Operations Chief Minan, and in the presence of personnel involved in security operations.

Pringsewu Police Chief, AKBp Mr. Yunnus Saputra, through AKP Operations Chief Minan, said that securing the visit of the former number one to Indonesia was a major concern as it involved the safety of state guests as well as the comfort of the public who wanted to attend this activity.

“A total of 285 people are waiting and will be placed at different points according to the route that has been determined. This security does not only focus on the location of the activity, but also includes the route that the group will take, parking areas, traffic management and anticipation of potential vulnerabilities that could arise,” said AKP Minan met after the call and security rehearsal.

According to him, the success of security depends not only on the preparation of police personnel, but also on the synergy of all parties involved. For this reason, the safety of Jokowi’s visit was carried out in an integrated manner with the TNI of Kodim 0424/Tanggamus, Transportation Department, Health Department, Community Safety Belt Community and Maliosewu MSME Association.

“We want to ensure that the entire series of activities takes place safely without disrupting community activities. That is why we continue to coordinate with all elements. Each of them understands their duties and responsibilities on the ground,” he explained.

AKP Minan revealed that the safety rehearsal was deliberately carried out several days before the start of the activity in order to test the readiness of personnel and map out various scenarios that could occur during the visit.

“Each activity involving national figures certainly has its own dynamics. That is why we do not want there to be the slightest deviation. This rehearsal is a way to ensure that all staff understand the procedures and are able to act quickly if necessary,” he stressed.

Apart from security aspects, officers are also preparing anticipatory measures regarding vehicle density and visitor accumulation around the Maliosewu MSME site. Traffic planning will be carried out depending on the situation so that community mobility continues to take place smoothly during the activity.

He also called on the public who will welcome the arrival of Joko Widodo to maintain order and follow the instructions of officers on the ground.

“We understand the community’s enthusiasm to meet Mr. Jokowi in person. However, we hope that all residents can work together to maintain the conducive situation, respect the arrangements that have been made and prioritize mutual safety,” he said.

With various preparations that have been made, the Pringsewu Police are optimistic that the agenda for the visit of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, to Pringsewu Regency can be carried out safely, smoothly and give a positive impression to the community and MSME stakeholders who will participate in the visit.
