Donald Trump steals political libido from Democrats

The 2020 election is well underway. President Trump is probably overhead if you scan the sky long enough. Former Vice President Joe Biden has left his basement and only occasionally regains his comfort. This campaign is heating up.

What can we expect? Well I can tell you it will be a very acrimonious race. Recently Mr Biden called the president a liar and said something that a liar shouldn’t be president. Of course, Joe is a proven plagiarist who cheated as a student and, for that matter, cheated for over 40 years as a senator. You cannot be a plagiarist and a cheater without being a liar. So, I guess Joe considers himself exempt from his accusations against the president. Like I said, it will be a very bitter race.

Yet no one I have listened to really understands why it is going to be so bitter. Democratic leaders obviously hate Donald Trump, but why? After watching him for the past four years, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not because of his endless tweets or his penchant for name calling or any of the standard Democratic complaints. It’s because he stole the Democrats’ political libido and put it for Republican purposes.

As I have written for years, Democrats have the political libido of a nymphomaniac. Sometimes the democratic political libido makes me think of a sex freak. They just can’t hold back. Republicans, by comparison, have a more chaste political libido. Theirs is more like that of a Victorian lady or man. They don’t want to make a scene. They don’t want to bring the house down. Democrats are doing it, and they will trample the ruins if necessary.

From time to time, Democrats, driven by their untimely political libido, break a precedent. Remember when the precedent was that an American politician would never speak ill of a sitting president while traveling overseas? Since President Carter’s defeat, every Democratic presidential candidate, elected or defeated, has spoken badly of a seated Republican president. There are other precedents that Democrats have broken in recent times. All of them were victims of hyperactive political libidos.

In the 2020 race, the reason for all this bitterness is that Donald Trump entered politics without understanding the Republican and Democratic political libidos. He has bothered Democrats and some Republicans – let’s not forget the Never Trumpers – by applying Democratic political libido to Republican issues. It served him well in terms of results, but it pissed off the Schumers and Pelosis of this world.

So far, the president has hit 208 judges, completely changing the country’s judicial makeup. He revived the economy by lowering taxes and ridding the country of dozens of unnecessary regulations. He set aside countless precedents. Sometimes he demolished the house, and sometimes he seemed ready to trample the ruins. He would be a perfect Democrat, except for one thing. He is not a socialist.

Donald Trump has roared through politics with an enthusiasm for the game that Republicans really don’t understand. Sure, the normal Republican politician enjoys the great game of politics, but at the end of the day he or she returns home to his or her spouse and family. Donald looks more like a Democrat. He grabs a bite to eat and begins the night shift. He goes back to the evening news. He calls his chief of staff, brings in his overworked speech writers, works the phones.

Perhaps, he flies off to a state of battlefield. Frankly, the Never Trumpers should be happy that he became a Republican and they should have stayed for fun. Mr. Trump did more in his first term than any predecessor. The only one that comes close is Ronald Reagan, but he was originally a Democrat and may have had some Democratic political libido when he left the Democratic Party.

Now the president is running for re-election. Polls say he’s late. Well, at this point in 2016 he was overdue as well. By the way, at this point in the race in 1980, Ronald Reagan was also late. Pollsters said the race was a draw as late as the night before the election. Then came the flood.
