Prime Minister Imran Khan agrees to defer utility bills for mosques, madrassas and imambargahs – Research Snipers

A special assistant to the Prime Minister responsible for information and broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, said that the Prime Minister had accepted requests made by Islamic clerics in the country to defer utility bills for all mosques. , imambargahs, madrassas and other places of worship.

The Prime Minister (PM) accepted the ulemas’ request and offered his recommendation to the economic team, said Dr Awan at the press conference accompanied on Monday by Minister of Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri.

She said the government of Pakistan was also aware of the academic loss of madrassa students in the country following the closure due to the novel coronavirus.

It should be mentioned here that due to the coronavirus crisis in the country, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, approved the waiver of utility bills from different parts of the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, on the other hand, recently launched a TV channel for students in grades 1 through 12.

The special assistant also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had also asked Pakistani Television (PTV) to start a similar channel for madrassa students and compensate for their academic loss due to the suspension of their classes due of a coronavirus epidemic.
