Prime Minister Imran says citizens' portal is a real empowerment of citizens
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the PM Citizen Portal app has crossed the 1.5 million user mark in 15 months, with 92% resolution of public complaints.
While tweeting, the Prime Minister said, "This result is unprecedented in Pakistan and I congratulate my team for bridging the gap between citizens and government departments. It is a real empowerment of citizens. "

Earlier, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Azam Khan Swati said that ninety-two percent of complaints on the Pakistan citizens' portal have been resolved, which is a great success.
According to Radio Pakistan, he was answering a question in the Senate during Question Time, he said. The portal also allowed Pakistanis overseas to solve their problems online.
Responding to another question, the minister said there was a need to improve institutions like NAB and FBR to facilitate business in the country.
Azam Khan Swati, while referring to the facilities provided in the special economic zones, said that a summary has been sent to the firm for exemption from corporate income tax in the zones for another decade. He said the previous exemption had been granted for ten years and will expire on June 30 of this year.
On Tuesday, two bills were passed in the upper house.
The bills were proposed by the Minister of Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar.
The bills include the 2019 Foreign Exchange Regulation (Amendment) Bill and the 2019 Anti-Money Laundering (Amendment) Bill.
The House will meet again at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
