Yes Banking crisis: Rahul Gandhi attacks Modi, says PM and his ideas have destroyed the economy
Following the Yes Bank crisis after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposed restrictions following which its shares fell sharply, Congressman Rahul Gandhi criticized the Narendra Modi government for destroying the Economy.

Rahul Gandhi's tweet to the Center came a day after the RBI placed capital-hungry Yes Bank under a moratorium and capped monthly withdrawals at 50,000 rupees per account.
Earlier in the day, Congress chief and former finance minister P Chidambaram said the NDA government’s ability led by Narendra Modi to govern and regulate financial institutions had been updated.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been in power for six years. Their ability to govern and regulate financial institutions is exposed," said P Chidambaram of the Yes Bank crisis.
In the tweet, P Chidambaram also said: "First, it was PMC bank. Now, it is Yes bank. Is the government concerned at all? Can it be to evade responsibility? Is there a third bank online? "
WHAT IS THE CRISIS AT YES BANK?
On Thursday, the RBI placed Yes Bank under moratorium and decided that Yes Bank depositors would not be allowed to withdraw more than 50,000 rupees per account for a month. However, for purposes such as marriage and health emergencies, exceptions can be made, said the RBI.
