Qadri thanks Saudi Arabia for helping the poor

ISLAMABAD – Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri on Friday thanked Saudi Arabia for helping the marginalized part of society during the holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

Addressing the ceremony of distributing 20,000 ration bags to deserving people by Maktaba-e-Dawa Islamabad, he said that Saudi Arabia had helped Pakistan in difficult times.

Qadri said the Pakistani nation and the government thanked Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al Malki for his participation in welfare activities in Pakistan, said a statement.

Minister Honors Workers On International Labor Day

On Friday, the Federal Minister of the Interior, retired brigadier Ijaz Ahmad Shah, underlined the important role played by the working community for the progress and the prosperity of the country.

Sarwar also paid tribute to Pakistani expatriates for sending valuable funds to the country and playing their positive role in national progress.

“Since the coming to power of the ITP, remittances have increased considerably, reflecting the confidence of expatriate Pakistanis in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” said the minister.

The minister said the government is also making every effort to bring all stranded Pakistanis back to different countries after the coronavirus epidemic.
