Men's tennis match against DePaul comes down to last singles match | Sports
DeKALB Men's tennis suffered its first defeat in more than a month on Saturday in a close game against DePaul University which ended 4-3 in favor of the Blue Demons.
Despite the defeat, head coach Patrick Fisher expressed appreciation for the efforts of his teams.

Sophomore Mikko Malinen and junior Victor Spolidorio hit the first of the match, winning the initial double point 6-4. Unfortunately, freshman Mikael Volbach could not seal the return of the Huskies, when he fell to DePaul senior Fran Tonejc in straight sets in the game of the day, 7-6 and 6- 3, respectively.
NIU won't have time to heal its wounds, as men's tennis will soon be traveling at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Louisiana to face the corsairs of the University of New Orleans. The match will take place at the New Orleans University Tennis Center.
